Deeping Faith Through Scripture

The heart of our faith resides in Scripture.

Each study uncovers the thread of God’s love and purpose woven through every page of His Word.

Dr. Heath Jones—PhD in Old Testament Studies—leads us on our journey through the Bible. With his deep knowledge and engaging teaching style, we’ve explored books like “Revelation”, “The Gospel of John”, “Job”, and more.

Each topic is covered over two months, giving us time to dive deep, ask questions, and grow together in understanding.

The goal of these studies is to deepen our relationship with God by exploring the biblical narrative in its historical, theological, and spiritual dimensions—helping us apply these timeless truths to our lives today.

The Power of the Past.

Renowned for his dynamic teaching and deep historical insight, Dr. Art Echerd (PhD) brings history to life through captivating, month-long series that explore the forces shaping our world.

His sessions have covered subjects like “The Papacy: Then & Now”, “The Israeli - Palestinian Conflict”, and “The Story of the Republic of Turkey”, among others.

Each study is designed to help participants gain a clearer understanding of how God works through historical events, cultural shifts, and political dynamics that continue to be a part of our world today.

Faith in Fiction

As we read and discuss novelettes and short stories, we reflect on what it means to be human, the choices we make, and the deeper truths that shape our lives.

Guiding us in these literary journeys is Victor Judge, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Lecturer in Literature and Religion at Vanderbilt University Divinity School.

Under his leadership, we’ve engaged in several month-long studies, including “Small Things Like These” by Claire Keegan, “The Poetry of William Blake”, and short stories by contemporary Southern writer Tim Gautreaux.

The objective of these studies is to cultivate a deeper awareness of how literature can illuminate the complexities of faith, ethics, and the human condition—inviting thoughtful dialogue and personal reflection.

Growing Through Conversation

At the heart of our community is a simple but powerful belief: faith grows through conversation. Whether we’re exploring Scripture, reflecting on current events, or aligning our studies with the spiritual rhythms of the Christian calendar, we gather to listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and grow together.

Our studies, led by thoughtful guides and grounded in Scripture, have explored topics such as The Story of Mary Magdalene and Salvation in the Material World. Each one offers fresh insight into timeless truths and opens space for meaningful conversation. These discussions invite us to consider the human experience, wrestle with moral choices, and seek spiritual meaning in today’s world.

Our goal is to create a space where every voice is valued, relationships are strengthened, and spiritual growth becomes a shared journey.
